Presenting & Speaking
Terry Anne has led global presentations and speaking engagements about writing, travel and expat living. Her calling as a writer emerged through her global adventures; she users her experience to present on topics such as identity, parenthood, repatriation, and the joys and challenges of raising a family globally.
Building on her experiences teaching ESL (English as a second language) and sharing Canadian culture around the world, Terry Anne’s latest project was a collaboration between Royal Roads University in Victoria and Kinjo Gakuin University in Japan. The week-long course immerses students in Canadian culture while improving English skills and inspiring confidence.
Terry Anne first cultivated her passion for history and storytelling as a tour guide in Norway. Inspired by the power of preserving and sharing stories, she started Notes On A Boarding Pass, a blog that has thus far reached 150 countries. Discovering the joy and power of writing after attending several writing workshops herself, she went on to become a published author. Today she promotes the power of stories to a diverse audience.
With all of her work, Terry Anne aims to engage, inform, and inspire people through genuine connections -.whether in person or virtually.
